Key responsibilities of the role:

Reporting to the logistics and warehouse manager, Daytoday running of the warehouse
Stock/Inventory Management reduce inaccuracies/discrepancies, and lead stocktakes.
Support process improvements and the introduction of lean processes within warehouse and inventory/stock management.
Managing all goods inbound and outbound, loading and unloading vehicles
Using an internal computer system to input data accurately.
Deliver consistent performance without detriment to Health & Safety or quality requirements.
Deliver a health and safety culture, and monitor the warehouse, yard, forklift, and manual handling equipment so that a safe and efficient working environment is always promoted.
Assisting with all final order checking.
Ensuring all customer requirements are being met.
Maintaining excellent housekeeping of the warehouse and vehicles.

Skills & Experience

Team player, excellent communicator and comfortable in a fastpaced environment.
Good communication and motivational skills are essential.
Selfstarter with the ability to use their own initiative and have a drive for continuous improvement.
Comfortable using IT systems and computers.
High level of attention to detail and a "cando" attitude.
Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines.
Must have the ability to rapidly adapt to change.
Food warehousing and distribution experience is desirable.
Counterbalance licence essential reach licence highly desirable.
