Description

The NHS Golden Jubilee is home to the West of Scotland Heart and Lung Centre and also is an expanding elective centre.

We currently have 16 theatres and one endoscopy room and perform elective surgery 6 days per week.

We are currently seeking individuals to be part of our ever growing team, as theatre department support workers.

This is an essential role in the effective running of the theatre department, the post holders will be non-patient facing contact and work within the department to maintain cleanliness standards in regulations with prevention and infection control team and Healthcare Environment Inspectorate.


You will be integral part in the delivery of maintaining high standards of work within the theatre department completing audits, weekly cleaning schedules and complete any necessary admin duties assigned to the role.

You must demonstrate that you have a keen interest in working in this area and demonstrate you understand what this means.

You must be willing and able to learn, either already possessing skills in a similar area, you must also be physically fit and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

These roles require flexible working over 6 days and covering different shift patterns.
