Main responsibilities
- Cooperating with colleagues and promoting successful sales team/BD performance.
- Maintaining and leveraging off the firm's Management Information System (currently SalesForce) to ensure the effective implementation of regional relationships and servicing processes.
- Personally reinforcing excellence across the businesses stated cultural values and standards both inside BD/the firm and as a representative of the business in the market.
- Manage, strengthen and grow existing client and consultant relationships through daytoday liaison and participation at client meetings and conference calls.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs and objectives.
- Build and maintain knowledge of the regulatory environment clients operate in.
- Acquaint clients with the businesses investment strategies, products and services.
- Continually build and deepen knowledge of our products. Keep abreast of market developments.
- Collaborate closely with Portfolio Management and regional sales teams to maintain and expand client relationships and grow assets and revenues.
- Work closely with the Client Operations team to ensure efficient takeon of new clients. Familiarity with due diligence requirements and KYC procedures is important.
- Manage ongoing client activity in segregated accounts, including but not limited to coordinating cashflows and managing changes in investment guidelines.
- Work with sales teams and Client Operations to coordinate the setup of new distribution and rebate agreements and review any changes to them.
- Work closely with the Client Reporting team to ensure all clients' requirements and deadlines are met.
- Contribute to enhancing our service to clients through proactive participation in a variety of initiatives and projects.
Experience & Attributes
- Client Services/Sales Support experience in the Southern European region
- Knowledge of internal systems including Salesforce.
- Strong internal network to help support Amsterdambased team members.
- Good educational background.
- Local language skills are helpful, but fluent English is sufficient for this role
