Lloyds Banking Group is the UK's biggest Retail, Digital and Mobile bank with over 30 million customers. Our products touch the lives of millions, so we have a huge responsibility to help Britain Prosper. We're already playing a huge part in the Group's further £3bn digitisation

We're embarking on an exciting journey to modernise our group-wide data landscape to help achieve our mission in enabling a data-fuelled organization.

In the Chief Data and Analytics Office ("CDAO"), we're looking for hardworking individuals who have a deep understanding of the financial business, cloud technology and with a strategic approach to help fulfil our visions and support this journey.

Part of the broader Data Management office, we provide the capabilities for federated data offices to run and control their data in a well-governed and consistent manner.

We offer capabilities to model data, curate reusable data assets, gather lineage and metadata, store and distribute reference data, and control frameworks and tooling to identify and remediate data issues.

What you'll be doing...
As a Product Manager in Data Management Solutions, you will set the vision for, and deliver, the reference data management capabilities for divisional data offices

You'll:

  • Be the "voice of the customer", representing the divisional data offices' needs in the creation and evolution of reference data management capabilities.
  • Tell the product story and articulate technical concepts, rationale, and ROI in plain English to leadership to inform decisionmaking.
  • Influence and negotiate with business units, technology, and leadership to gain buyin for solutions and investment.
  • Responsible for the success of the product evolution, i.e., the ability to manage reference data in line with policy while delivering value for business units.
  • Define functional and business goals, collaborating with technical and functional product owners to transform into OKRs and KPIs
  • Work with divisions to identify problem statements and drive creative and reusable solutions which satisfy users' needs.
  • Create functional designs, requirements, and prototypes delivering tangible customer value.
  • Partner with technology counterparts to transform functional designs into technical designs and execution plans.
  • Own and prioritise the reference data product feature roadmap for iterative delivery of value.

We're looking for someone with...

  • Experience in data management practices (such as control frameworks, data quality, metadata, lineage, and reference data)

Ideally, you'll have...

  • A background in financial services / banking data or technology.
  • Experience productmanaging data content or data management capabilities, or experience with data management platforms, such as Collibra, Informatica, Talend, etc.
  • Good understanding of agile and scrum frameworks.
  • Background in data management practices in Cloud and traditional architectures
  • Experience in working with industryrecognised data models (e.g., BIAN, FIBO, FSLDM etc.)
  • Understanding of data structures, taxonomies, ontologies, entityrelationships, etc. at a conceptual or logical level
This is a fantastic area of the bank, full of down-to-earth people passionate about data and sharing their expertise. As data underpins so many important initiatives, it's a key area to work with huge career potential.

Offering hybrid working patterns (2-3 days in either our London or Bristol hub) we believe that a healthy work/ life balance is as important as the work we deliver, just let us know what might work for you...

We're also passionate about diversity and equal opportunity with industry recognition across gender, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and families. And being disability positive, reasonable adjustments can be accommodated in our Recruitment process.

We're simply committed to building an inclusive environment where all our colleagues can be themselves and succeed on merit.

Additional Package:

Annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution (when you put in 6%), 4% flexible cash allowance, private medical insurance, 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

We are very flexible employers and don't stick to the normal 9-5, within reason you can work hours to suit your lifestyle.

We're very family friendly as a company and have a great collection of smart, collaborative and diverse teams for you to join.

We keep your data safe. So, we'll only ever ask you to provide confidential or sensitive information once you have formally been invited along to an interview or accepted a verbal offer to join us which is when we run our background checks. We'll always explain what we need and why, with any request coming from a trusted Lloyds Banking Group person.
