We are looking for a
Housekeeping Assistant to join
Murray Edwards College, reporting to our Accommodation Manager and working in our friendly Housekeeping Team.

Murray Edwards College is one of the 31 Colleges in the University of Cambridge.

Our iconic modern buildings are set within beautiful, award-winning gardens, and contain the largest collection of modern and contemporary art by women in Europe.

We have a variety of events spaces, from intimate dining rooms, to lecture theatres, and the spectacular Dome Dining Hall.

Your role
Our Housekeeping team take care of ensuring that high standards of order and cleanliness are maintained throughout the College buildings, and you will be responsible for:

cleaning designated areas including student staircases, student houses and other College accommodation during College term-time.

- supplying a cleaning service when conference guests are in residence including servicing rooms daily, making and changing beds.

About you

A good level of spoken English
Good attention to detail, taking pride in their work.
A positive, friendly attitude.
Experience is not necessary; you will receive full training on the job.

Flexibility and hours

This is a parttime position of 30 hours per week
You will cover one weekend every four weeks on rotation with the rest of the team
Start times are flexible to accommodate your personal commitments
