Supply & Teach Ltd is looking for
Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants in the Swadlincote area due to a partnership with a major Trust in the area.

In this role you will be:

  • Responsible for assisting the class teacher in their duties
  • Providing support with a range of abilities or SEN needs who may require additional help with their work in class, 1:1 or in small groups out of class
  • Setting up equipment and preparing resources
  • Looking after children's pastoral needs
  • Assisting in managing behaviour so children are wellbehaved in line with the school's behaviour policy

You will:

  • Hold Level 2 or above in an educationrelated qualification
  • Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain a new one
  • Love working with children and helping them in their learning
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding within primary education
  • Be caring, compassionate and have a positive, encouraging approach
  • Have classroom experience in the age group you would like to work in
