Description
Champion and lead the bid function across EW (S&PT, IMS, and Combat Air).

  • Manage endtoend bid preparation process, from customer requirement receipt to contract award.
  • Create, own, and deliver a strategy to improve the quality of bids and proposal across EW.
  • Drive consistency and efficiency in bids and proposal output across all EW sectors.
  • Ensure consistent and disciplined approach to bid process and governance.
  • Produce accurate bid data and track key performance indicators / metrics across the whole of EW.
  • Generate and communicate bid status, metrics, and key performance indicators to the EW senior leadership team to inform decision making.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead the EW Bid Team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Proactively assess workload demands, prioritise activities, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Critically analyse EW proposals and governance adherence to ensure high quality bid submissions across EW.
  • In collaboration with the Integrated Campaign Teams help formulate winning bid strategies aligned to organisational objectives.
  • Where appropriate, lead the bid capture team, ensuring a compelling, competitive, and compliant proposal.
  • Proactively assess workload demands, prioritise tasks, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Monitor and manage budget and expenditure related to bids and proposals.
  • Provide reporting to support UK Business Order Intake forecasting and Capacity Planning.
  • Ensure timely delivery of proposal requirements in accordance with customer deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of the EW Sales Leadership team
