Description

The Event Operations Supervisor plays a vital role in providing a high level of customer service, operational organisation and technical support for museum events.

This will involve working irregular hours primarily evenings and weekends in order to ensure high quality event delivery.

You will also be supervising a team of event staff who are welcoming to visitors, knowledgeable of events and helpful to organisers and attendees.


You will enjoy working in a busy, demanding environment and managing events through from set up, to returning the spaces back ready for the next day's activities.


You will be based at the Manchester Museum, however, to maintain operational effectiveness you may also work at the Whitworth as required.


Note:

It is a requirement that the post holder has or obtains a Personal Licence to oversee the sale of alcohol at events.
