Hypothetical breakdown of pro-rata salary:

If appointed to this position at 30 hours per week term time (40 weeks) your anticipated gross pay per month would be £ Edge Hill University pay term staff monthly in arrears, in twelve equal instalments.

This example monthly gross pay figure is based on:

  • Full Time Full Year equivalent salary of £22,681 ÷ 52 weeks ÷ 36.25 hours (full time equivalent contract hours) = £12.03 per hour.
- £12.03 per hour x 30 hours per week x 45.08 weeks (i.e., the 40 term time weeks you work additional pay weeks in lieu of your annual leave and statutory leave) = £16,272.56 annual actual gross salary before tax, national insurance, and any other deductions.
- £7,844.46 ÷ 12 months = £1,356.04 equal gross pay monthly instalments.
