Description
Our client is looking for a grounds maintenance team leader, working on show homes for big building contractors.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
  • Irrigate and water plants, trees, and shrubs as needed
  • Plant and maintain gardens, flower beds, and other landscaping features
  • Use power tools and equipment to build and maintain outdoor structures
  • Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas in need of maintenance or repair
  • Operate and maintain mechanical equipment used for groundskeeping

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred
  • Knowledge of hand tools commonly used in landscaping and groundskeeping
  • Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

Experience:


  • Garden/
Grounds Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Manual Driving Licence (required)
  • CSCS Card (preferred)
