About the role

Our client, a global leader in financial services, is looking for a Splunk SME to provide consultancy for the design, development and implementation of their Splunk systems and SIEM platform.

What you'll do in this role

Join a global security team supporting lowlevel issues and events
Develop Splunk systems to improve operational stability and effectiveness.
Support project streams in the programme with direct Splunk SIEM interdependencies
Work alongside key stakeholders to build a clear understanding of requirements and technical, policy and governance expectations
Support the review and development of design documents
Understand project deliverable, timelines and interdependencies, including associated risk and issues
Work closely with project managers and solution architects to support the solution design and governance approval

Your skills and background

Over 7 years' Splunk product experience as a consultant or architect
A deep understanding of SIEM and the tooling in a global security operations centre environment
A background in onprem and cloud cyber tooling
Handson experience with onprem and cloud infrastructure and services

Extra bonus points for

Cloud experience and expertise with AWS and Azure
A background working in financial services
