About the role


Our client, a global leader in financial services, is looking for a Splunk SME to provide consultancy for the design, development and implementation of their Splunk systems and SIEM platform.


What you'll do in this role

  • Join a global security team supporting lowlevel issues and events
  • Develop Splunk systems to improve operational stability and effectiveness.
  • Support project streams in the programme with direct Splunk SIEM interdependencies
  • Work alongside key stakeholders to build a clear understanding of requirements and technical, policy and governance expectations
  • Support the review and development of design documents
  • Understand project deliverable, timelines and interdependencies, including associated risk and issues
  • Work closely with project managers and solution architects to support the solution design and governance approval

Your skills and background

  • Over 7 years' Splunk product experience as a consultant or architect
  • A deep understanding of SIEM and the tooling in a global security operations centre environment
  • A background in onprem and cloud cyber tooling
  • Handson experience with onprem and cloud infrastructure and services

Extra bonus points for

  • Cloud experience and expertise with AWS and Azure
  • A background working in financial services
