A large all-through school for children with Autism (ASC) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) is looking for a number of motivated, compassionate and inspiring Teachers to join their team in September 2021.


The school is well resourced, a model setting for those working within SEND and currently in a period of expansion and growth.

With the opportunity to grow in September comes the opportunity for new talent to join their team. If you are a compassionate,driven Primary or Secondary Teacher with an excellent knack at building strong relationships, I want to hear from you
- £130-£190 per day

  • Longterm contracts
  • September or ASAP starts

Requirements:


  • Knowledge and understanding of special educational needs through experience in the classroom
  • Knowledge and understanding of special educational needs through completion of relevant courses and training, demonstrating a commitment to continued professional development and learning (CPDL)
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • A patient and understanding approach and manner
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Clear DBS check
  • Experience of PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, Rapid Prompting Method and other relevant augmentative and alternative communication approaches are advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities:


  • Be aware of, and remain responsible for all safeguarding of pupils within your care
  • Foster independence in students and promote wellbeing and good welfare
Desirable

  • Further study, research, or qualifications in the area of SEN and Disability.
