Reed Finance are delighted to be supporting one of our clients in the Gas Distribution sector to recruit for a Finance Business Partner role.

The overall purpose of this role is to support the financial operations team and wider stakeholders in preparing journals, purchase orders and financial analysis.

_Responsibilities _

Preparing monthly accruals and journals to ensure the accuracy of month end accounts
Preparing forecasts and budgets
Preparing information for Senior Management meetings discussing performance
Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with Senior Managers and stakeholders across the wider business
Challenge costs by understanding cost drivers
Qualified Accountant or finalist
Strong technical skills
Excellent Ms excel
Be a strong communicator with the ability to influence
