The Best Connection is looking to source an experienced Team Leader for our well-established client that specialises in the fasteners industry, they supply the automotive industry at both a national and international level.

This will be a Monday to Friday position working 06:00am-14:00pm alternating onto a Monday-Friday 14:00pm-22:00pm. This includes a 30 minutes paid break and 30 minutes unpaid break.

The summary of this role is to ensure all warehouse operations are carried out in line with customer/supplier demand.

Responsible for prioritising and delegating daily tasks at the start of each shift to maximise efficiency and accuracy, minimising picking and packing errors.

Main duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Develop, train and support the staffing operation to deliver all shipments in a timely manner in accordance with schedules, as required.
Prioritise packing orders in order to achieve shipping deadlines.
Liaise with couriers ensuring accurate material is dispatched and all processes completed on time.
Provide reporting information to Warehouse Supervisor, as required.
Support and develop the performance and capability of the warehouse team, in accordance with company and procedures.
Monitor the performance of packing machines and operators and provide M.I data to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Ensure the warehouse operation is carried out in a clean, tidy and safe manner, taking action as required.
To carry out daily checks on Machine Handling Equipment and warehouse racking to ensure the safety of both staff and equipment.
Identify any accidents, near misses or areas of concern and ensure they are raised to the Health and Safety/Facilities Supervisor in a timely manner.
Knowledge of and adherence to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 1694
Responsible for the communication and adherence of all direct reports to Bulten Group & Bulten Ltd Health and Safety Policy and procedures.
