SEN Teaching Assistant wanted for an 'Outstanding' secondary school in WandsworthKey Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with autism and a range of learning difficulties on a 1:1 basis
- Implementing individualized support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
- Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities
- Collaborating with teachers and other members of the support team to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements
- Previous experience working with students with autism and a range of learning difficulties
- Strong understanding of the needs of students with SEN and the ability to implement effective support strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive and proactive approach to supporting students and a passion for making a difference
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
This is a full-time role, starting after February half term and running until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity to go permanent.
