Project Officer - Scotland & North England - £43,250 to £54,859 + Company Car:

  • As an integral part of the Scotland & North England Delivery team, the Project Officer drives value by ensuring that Contractors' construction activities align with National Gas policy and contractual requirements.
  • Your accountabilities would include the review of risk assessments and method statements, undertaking safety inspections, issuing permits with a focus on the delivery of a safe, technically compliant project whilst maintaining a commercial mindset.
  • You will need to have good understanding of Rotating Equipment, CDM Regulations, Safety and Environmental legislation, practices, and policies. Having basic project management skills and previous experience of project site management is important.
  • Projects will be mainly focused on Pipeline, AGI & Compressor Station activities across the National Transmission System.
  • Travel will be part of the job, most weeks you will be traveling to one of our sites or offices across Scotland and the North of England. Therefore, it's essential you hold a full UK driving licence and be a good planner.
