The school:


This is a teaching assistant opportunity based in the BD3 area in an 'Outstanding' school we regularly receive positive feedback regarding their staff, children etc, supporting their pupils.

This school constantly works to improve the educational experiencesthey provide for their pupils and to have high expectations of everyone in school.

They primarily focus on language development and aim to develop children into effective communicators, capable of building positive relationships and becoming successful lifelonglearners and leaders.


The role:


The role itself provides a significant service to our schools during times of need, offering cover in the absence of permanently employed teachers across all year groups in a range of schools across the Bradford area.

It is across a number of year groupsrequiring adjustment to different ages and different challenges you may stumble upon whilst delivering curriculum.

In this role you will be responsible for helping prepare and organise lesson resources, helping engage pupils in their learning whilst also providingclassroom and pupil support.


The pay:

The rate of pay will be between £70 and £85 depending on your levels of experience.


The successful Teaching Assistant will:


  • Have experience working with young people in UK primary schools.
  • Have experience working with challenging behaviour.
  • Have experience in year 6 intervention towards SATs, however this is not compulsory.
  • Have an enthusiastic and positive approach in the classroom.
  • Be proactive and organised.
  • Work well as a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
