Description

Field Engineers wanted to cover client and customer sites throughout Kent and London.

Van and Fuel card provided.

As the 2nd Line Field Engineer, you will:
Become an experienced member of the Field Engineer team, performing on average around 4 site visits and / or PGM's (Proactive General Maintenance) per week

When not undertaking site visits / PGM's, provide technical support customers via the Helpdesk ticket system, as required by the business,

Represent the Company in a positive way, by engaging well with customers, being well-presented at all times, and demonstrating a positive work ethic,

Work as part of a team to improve and deliver high quality PGM days for clients.

Demonstrate a professional, respectful, and proactive approach to customer service.

Have the technical knowledge to make recommendations to clients, suggesting genuine system improvements.

Bring an in-depth knowledge of Windows technologies, such as Windows Server and Desktop operating systems.

Demonstrate a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting, thinking outside the box to reach the best resolution.


CORE SKILLS
Windows Server

Windows Desktop XP-10

Hosted Desktop and Cloud computing

Terminal server farm setups

Office 365 tenant setup and administration

VMWare/Hyper-V administration

Strong networking capabilities (DNS, routing, switching etc)

VoIP knowledge, preferably 3CX

Demonstrable experience as a 2nd Line IT Engineer


DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Exposure to Cisco/Draytek firewalls

Apple products and support

Group Policy administration

Cabling survey and installations

Exposure to Ubiquiti / Cisco Wireless

Previous MSP experience

Recognised accreditations (MCP's, CompTIA, Apple)
