Term-Time only (39 weeks per year) £11.64 per hour

Full & Part-time available

  • Morning, Evening, and Weekend shifts available
  • Morning only (06:45 to 09:30)
  • Evening only (16:00 to 22:00)
  • Weekend only (06:45 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00)
  • Evening & Weekends (shifts as above)

We are working and supporting a college in Lingfield who cater for 19-25 year olds who have Epilepsy, Autism and learning difficulties along with Communication difficulties, they are looking for support workers to help them with the students and they have some very flexible shifts available.

About The Job

As a Learning Support Worker, you will support students (19-25yo) across their residential and educational setting.

You must be passionate about making a genuine difference to the young people we support and putting them at the heart of everything we do.

Day-to-day, your role will include

  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team who share a common goal; to achieve the best for our students.
  • Enabling students to access learning, using needsspecific, personalised approaches, both with 1:1 and group learning activities.
  • Encouraging independence among the young people you support.
  • Contributing to individual student records and reports, in consultation with the class Teacher and specialist staff.
  • Supporting students at home (onsite), attending and contributing to classroom, curriculum, staff, and other vital meetings.
  • Completing administration work
  • Promoting high standards of hygiene and welfare for students at home and in class.
