Description
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for the children
- Provide emotional and practical support to the children in their daytoday lives
- Encourage and support the children in their education and personal development
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of the children's progress and wellbeing
- Develop positive relationships with the children, families and other professionals
- Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are followed in line with best practice
- Light domestic duties
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, working with children with SEMH needs
- A proactive and funloving personality
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and the importance of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of OFSTED requirements
- A commitment to providing the highest standards of care to the children
- Resilience
- Drivers required because of the rural location of the home
Each sleep is paid at an additional £50 per night with an average of 40.5 hours worked across the week.
