Risk & Compliance Officer required at County Court to cover the North of England
Hours: 35 Hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary £30,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience + Company Car Allowance
Country Court are one of the fastest growing 5 care providers & we are looking for a Risk & Compliance Officer to support our portfolio of homes in our Northern/Midlands Area of England & the Head of Risk & Compliance.
You will be based remotely, and the role will involve extensive travel throughout our network of homes in the North of England and would need to attend meetings at least once a month at our Head Office in Peterborough.
As our Risk & Compliance Officer you will conduct & review fire risk assessments, health & safety risk assessments, conduct safety inspections and audits.
You will be providing general HS&F advice and supporting the operational teams to ensure a safe environment for the residents, staff & visitors.
Some of your responsibilities as risk & compliance officer will include:
- Visit all care homes/sites to conduct safety inspections and audits when required.
- Work with the Operations Team to continuously improve the safety in our homes so we can deliver outstanding care to our residents.
- Review fire risk assessments and ensure any issues are resolved with the relevant parties
- Provide safety advise to the care home managers & other teams as & when required.
- Attend Meetings at our Head Office at least once a month.
About You
- Previous experience in fire safety and health & safety in the healthcare sector (desirable)
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential)
- NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management (essential)
- Member of the IOSH (Tech minimum)
- Great IT/Microsoft office, time management and organisational experience
- Understanding of GDPR Regulations
Full Driving License required as extensive travel is required across our network of homes
