McCarthy Stone are looking for a dynamic
Relief Care Supervisor at their prestigious
Jenner Court estate in
Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Jenner Court is a Retirement Living PLUS development close to the centre of Cheltenham. It consists of one and two bedroom retirement apartments exclusively for the over 70s. It has some outstanding communal facilities, including a communal lounge and on-site restaurant and landscaped gardens.


Basic salary:
£12.56
day rate and
£10.42 SLEEPING night rate per hour plus additional pay (see below)


Hours:
Flexible to be agreed with the Registered Estate Manager

Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.

Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am

Our Care Supervisors
sleep between 23:00pm and 07:00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.

About you:


  • You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and selfmotivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
  • Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
  • Able to coordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
  • Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
  • Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
