Pebbles Care are looking for an In House Recruiter to join their buoyant and successful Recruitment Team on a full time, permanent and remote basis.


You will be at the forefront of Pebbles Care's recruitment activities around our 45 Residential Child Care homes and two schools in Northern England and Scotland, shortlisting and communicating with applicants throughout their recruitment experience.


The role will involve liaising with various internal stakeholders, including Home Managers, the wider Recruitment and HR teams and Senior Management to ensure we find the right staff to work in our homes and care for our children.


You must have demonstrable experience of high volume recruitment and excellent inter-personal skills, as well as IT and administrative abilities.

Knowledge and experience of recruitment and social media advertising, job boards and a valid UK driving licence are also essential.

Other responsibilities include;

  • Liaising closely with all members of the recruitment and HR team regarding employment legislation, recruitment best practice and to identify vacancies across the business.
  • Advertising vacancies on a variety of platforms, raising requisitions via the HR software package and assisting to create new initiatives for recruitment advertising campaigns.
  • Carrying out extensive background checks for new employees and recording information accurately.
  • Assist the Recruitment Manager to collate information in relation to external stakeholders, recruitment statistics and support the overall recruitment strategy.
  • Report progress to the Recruitment Manager / HR Director.
  • Attend training in relation to recruitment best practice.
  • Advise and train hiring managers on interviewing techniques and recruitment processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including Area Managers.
  • Ensure that all recruitment documentation, interview scorecards, job descriptions and advertisements are up to date and in line with legislation.
  • Meet and exceed KPIs
  • Any other adhoc duties as required
