Learning Support Assistant
Bracknell, Berkshire
Full time
Temp-to-perm
£ £12.25 per hour


Reed Education are working closely with a Secondary School in Bracknell to recruit for Learning Support Assistants, specifically for their learning resource.


What we are looking for:


  • People available full time for temporarytopermanent vacancies. Interviews or trial days will be organised following registration.
  • You will understand the challenges of working with the challenging behaviour, mental health, complex needs and learning difficulties.

The school:


  • Is a coeducational comprehensive secondary school located in Bracknell, with public transport links from Bracknell town centre.
  • A supportive and friendly environment with a strong teamwork culture throughout the school.
  • Speaking to current staff of the school they feel that the headteacher is supportive and understanding with a great vision for the school.
  • A "good" OFSTED rated school for several years with the most recent inspection in November 2021.

The following attributes are beneficial:


  • Experience working with social, emotional and mental health needs.
  • Experience working with SEN, specifically autism.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour.
  • Good knowledge of mental health needs and recent training or experience.
  • Degree level qualification.
