Parts Sales Technician - Avonmouth - £26,000 - £27,000

Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in recruiting for a Part Sales Technician to join a well-established company based in Swindon.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the prices charged to the customers are in line with the company's objectives in relation to margin.
To keep optimum stock levels at customers locations and avoid overstocking.
Advising in house technicians, and customers of parts availability, promotions and optimal stock holding.
Point of contact for all parts queries and orders.
A key requirement of the role is having the ability to work closely with the customers to ensure their expectations are being met.
Proactively seek new sales opportunities through promotions and special offers.
To work with the in house technicians, to achieve maximum parts availability.
Maintain a good professional working relationship with all customers and continually monitor and advise on stock holding.
Ensure invoices are raised in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure stock replenishment is ordered in a timely manner to meet the service levels.
Manage and police the return process and ensure the IT systems are adjusted accordingly.

Person Specification

Good understanding of Truck and Van parts.
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English.
Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook computer systems.
Excellent telephone skills.
Attention to detail.
Computer Literate.
Working to strict deadlines to meet customer's requirements and senior management.
Prioritisation of workload with conflicting demands on time.
Eye for detail and accuracy, ability to question/seek clarification where advice in relation to parts is requested.
