Orchard Professional Solutions Ltd are pleased to be supporting a local Modular Building manufacturer who are looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant / Clerk.

Our Client take pride in their work and are capable of delivering stylish, cost-effective and high quality environmentally friendly buildings.


As a Payroll Assistant / Clerk, our Client are looking for someone to support in the efficient running of the weekly and monthly payroll function whilst also providing support to the finance team.

This tole is for those who are looking for a net step in their career who can develop and grow within the role.


Your duties will include:

  • Processing weekly timesheets
  • Preparation of weekly and Monthly payroll (PAYE and CIS)
  • Reconciliation and payment of Attachment of Earnings
  • Collating and processing Expense Claims
  • Managing payroll queries
  • Liaising with Suppliers to enforce deadlines
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

Personal Attributes


The client is looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who can effectively communicate with colleagues internally and with Clients within the supply chain.

You must be reliable and punctual, efficient and organised with a keen eye for detail.


Additional details:


  • Full Time Role
  • 40 Hours a week

Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm


Salary:
£11.53 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Kingston upon Hull, HU7 0XQ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Payroll: 1 year (preferred)
Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)

  • Sage: 1 year (preferred)
