The Graduate School at CSVPA are looking to appoint a temporary Lecturer in Illustration & Animation, for a period of 4 weeks (Tuesdays, from Tuesday 28th February to Tuesday 21st March) to provide teaching cover on MA

Visual Communication:
Illustration & Animation.

The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to studio practice sessions (six hours per day, 24 hours in total), including provision of technical workshops and tutorials to support the development of student projects.


Professional experience in following are desired:
illustration, moving image, digital media, and animation, including skills in After Effects and other 2D animation platforms.

  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB leading studio practice sessions for MA

Visual Communication:
Illustration & Animation
- providing technical support for 2D animation
- tutorial support for student project development

  • PERSON SPECIFICATION
  • Relevant and active Illustration & Animation professional experience
  • Experience of learning, teaching & assessment in a higher education environment (permanent, fractional, or hourly paid contracts)
  • Applies an inquiring, innovative and reflexive approach to teaching
  • Considers equality, diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of teaching and assessment
  • Shows commitment to understanding the range of students' experiences within a course
  • Collaborates and works effectively within teams and across different professional groups
