Description

The post holder will maintain a consistent and professional approach to the delivery of the Apprenticeship IAG service and provide quality and highly specialised information relevant to the needs of all staff, Trust-wide.

The post holder will be influential in meeting the Public Sector Target by utilising the Trust's Apprenticeship Levy to upskill staff as part of workforce planning and development.


The post holder will undertake all aspects of on boarding Apprentices onto a suitable Apprenticeship Standard matched against relevant job descriptions, eligibility, prior learning recognition (PLR) and specific entry requirements that are mandatory for enrolment with providers and HEI's as part of compliance with the ESFA under the Funding Rules.


The post holder will be expected to create and design relevant resources for the IAG Service and Apprenticeship Forum to deliver bespoke training which may be face-to-face or on-line, and therefore exceptional IT skills are essential for the role.


The post holder will be proactive in providing pastoral care to Apprentices which includes escalating and resolving issues and mitigating risks effectively to the Head of Apprenticeships.

The post holder plays an influential and integral part of the Trust's Apprenticeship offer that supports the Apprenticeship Strategy, the NHS Long Plan and the Trust's strategic objectives for workforce and succession planning.
