Intervention Specialist Teaching Assistant - OL8


Tradewind are supporting schools with their catch-up plans to support students who have fallen behind due to gaps in their learning.

We are looking for KS2 specialists who can deliver Maths and literacy boosters, with particular focus to the SATs, to raisethe attainment for one of our schools in Oldham.

The position is to start in November and will last until at least the end of July.

It would be advantageous if you have previous KS2 SATs experience and are up to date with the National Curriculum.


About the role:
To support children 121 or in small groups

Provide intervention to accelerate learning

To support with learning difficulties and well being

To close and / or narrow gaps in learning

To work with the class Teacher to ensure learning is accessible to all pupils in class

To breakdown work to suite individuals learning needs and levels

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
Have KS2 school-based experience

Ideally have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained

Have the legal right to work in the UK
