Alvarez & Marsal Taxand is looking for highly motivated, analytical, inquisitive and numerate individuals to support in becoming a dual qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).

Due to continued business growth and investment in building our team, graduate opportunities are available for those interested in becoming a Tax Advisor to a wide variety of clients from large companies to tech start-ups and privately managed businesses.

We are currently recruiting for a beginning of September 2023 start date and will be looking to bring in graduates in Manchester.

We will support you through your training to become both a qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and from your first day in the office you will be involved in providing commercial and practical tax advice to our clients and expanding your own knowledge and skillsets.


Requirements and qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • 2:1 or higher undergraduate degree
  • Alevel ABB (or equivalent)
  • IT skills proficient in Excel and Word to intermediate level
  • Relevant work experience preferred but not a necessity
  • Evidence of significant nonacademic achievements
  • Business level English is a prerequisite and any other languages are a bonus
