Antrim office. This is a
Permanent position.


Salary
£30,000 - £40,000 per year + Fantastic Benefits package


Working as the Stores Manager / Materials Controller you will take responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of materials arriving on site, delivery to the correct location and maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the yard.


Responsibilities:


  • Structure, manage and prioritize the workload for the employees within the stores
  • Ensure yard, stores, and store drop off areas are all maintained appropriately, kept clean and tidy and all packaging is disposed of in line with company guidelines
  • Responsible for ensuring that all materials are checked into stores and issued to the correct areas, with all paperwork being forwarded to Purchasing.
  • Ensure stock levels are communicated to the relevant factory managers and departments in a timely and professional manner
  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly stock counts ensuring 100% accuracy
  • Continuous Improvement and Development of stores / factory processes
  • Ensure that all purchase order suggestions are processed on a daily basis
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety policies and processes are implemented and adhered to within all areas of stores and yard, including the reporting of all accidents, near misses and any H&S incident.
  • This list is not exhaustive and should will include all reasonable duties as required by management.
  • Previous experience and a working knowledge of stock management and maintaining a store environment within manufacturing
  • Experience of managing people, providing direction and allocating work
  • Ability to take responsibility for managing the workflow of the team and ensuring deadlines and targets are met
  • Computer / IT literate with experience using a computerized business system
  • Operational Knowledge of logistic processes such as, purchase order entry and goods receipt processing.
  • Forklift license is desirable
