The Role

You'll be joining a warm and friendly team who support four individuals with various learning disabilities to live in their own homes.

They all live in the same complex, so there's not travel required while on shift

The great thing about this job is that two days are never the same; you'll provide invaluable support with all aspects of their daily living, including cooking, cleaning, finances and medication.

We'll also need you to be enthusiastic and creative supporting with their hobbies and interests too, these include gardening, cooking, baking, arts & crafts, going for walks and getting out and about in their local community.

About You
At Cornerstone we don't recruit on experience and qualifications.

we're more interested in what you as a person will bring to our team We'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need to build an amazing career within the Health & Social Care sector.

We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too

All we'll need you to bring is: -

Good listening and communication skills
A caring attitude and approach
A positive approach to learning
An understanding of the importance of routines and guidelines
The ability to cook (baking would be a bonus too)

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts will usually fall into patterns of , or hours and will also include sleepovers and weekends on a rotational basis.

Typically you'll work 2-3 sleepover shifts per month. Our sleepovers don't form part of your contracted hours,
you'll receive an additional payment of £87 for every sleepover shift you work
