This business are £100m t/over business well established in its market.
They are looking for a Trainee Accounts Assistant to join their business based in Skelmersdale on a permanent full-time basis.
This role is suited to a person who is looking to kick start their finance career, no experience needed just a good attitude and willing to learn.
This role would be best suited to
college leavers, AAT studiers, Maths/Finance Graduates** who is wanting to take advantage of AAT/CIMA/ACCA study fully paid for.
The successful Trainee Accounts Assistant duties will include:
- Month end preparation including:
- Profit & Loss
- Balance Sheet
- Accruals/Prepayments
- Audit
- Tax pack
- VAT returns
- Bank reconciliation
- Budget
- Cost Analysis
- Statements
- Expenses
- Variance analysis
- Reporting
The Successful Applicant:
The successful Trainee Accounts Clerk MUST have include:
- AAT studier OR Maths/Finance Graduate wanting to get into Finance
Must drive:
- Keen and willing attitude to learn
- Basic reconciliation skills
- Experience of MS Excel, Word
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative
- Capability to work to deadlines
- Able to work as part of a team
