Join us in a great opportunity to become an Executive Assistant at the heart of our esteemed Oxford University's Saïd Business School.

This dynamic position is housed within the Executive Office, a busy, challenging and fast-moving environment.

As an Executive Assistant, you will ensure seamless administrative and local project support to the School's leadership.

You will work in tandem with both the School's leadership and the administrative staff to ensure that the Executive Office's business is meticulously coordinated and executed with the utmost professionalism.


This role is your canvas to nurture and strengthen relationships across the Saïd Business School, Oxford University and with senior business executives and donors.

Your ability to manage relationships and ensure actions are followed through will be paramount.


Your organisational skills need to be unparalleled, and your ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines will be put to the test.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Act as a liaison for the leadership, handling inquiries and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Implement office administrative systems and procedures.
  • Research and prepare reports and briefing papers for senior staff.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings, including venues, IT, and AV facilities.
  • Handle complex travel arrangements including visas.
  • Coordinate committee work, agendas, and minutes.
  • Provide administrative oversight on financial matters.
  • Develop successful working relationships within the department and across Saïd Business School.
  • Organise events, manage guest lists, invitations, venues, and catering.
  • Handle any other duties commensurate with the role.
