We are continuing to develop and innovate, launching new products in exciting categories such as adult soft drinks and cocktail mixers.
We're looking for people to help define how Fever-Tree evolves as a brand as we continue to grow and innovate within the mixer category.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Payables Assistant, you will be covering key areas of accounts payable for Fever-Tree Group, reporting to our Global Accounts Payables Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complex supplier queries and liaise internally and externally as appropriate to resolve any legacy issues, ensuring supplier accounts are reconciled and managed effectively
- Provide feedback to the processing teams to prevent future issues
- Process contra journals and allocations for intercompany supplier and receivable accounts
- Reconcile and manage intercompany supplier and receivable accounts, liaising with the Management Accountants in each region to ensure invoices, payments and credits are correctly allocated
- Manage queries on intercompany invoicing with receiving subsidiary (i.e. GDP, USA Inc.)
- Intercompany price checks for stock moving between entities (i.e. transfer prices)
- Prepare and review supplier statement reconciliations, taking actions to request invoices and ensure items are not stuck in the process
- Prepare and issue reporting on behalf of the processing team, enabling them to have visibility of pending approvals and uncleared transactions (e.g. unallocated cash)
- Work with all members of the Payables and Cash Management teams during peak times, supporting them to meet SLAs for invoice processing, approvals, query resolution and payment
Requirements:
- Excellent understanding of accounts payable processes
- Understanding of wider accounting processes and systems
- Intermediate level experience with Excel
- Experience with Netsuite or similar workflowbased ERP system
- Interest in the FMCG industry
- Ability to work under pressure and problem solve
- Keen attention to detail
- Able to manage a high volume of work and prioritise effectively
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Selfdisciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
