16 or 32 hours per week plus sleepover

Shift: 3pm - 3pm following day with sleepover at £10.90 / hour

Josh:
Josh is a young adult about to move in to his own home.

He likes to be kept busy and enjoys activities in and around his home and community. He particularly enjoys cooking and baking with his Personal Assistant. Josh likes to keep his home tidy and will do his housework every day, he is very house-proud.

People who know Josh would say that he is very friendly, has a great sense of humour and a lovely big smile.

He enjoys spending time on walks, he enjoys getting out in the car to travel places.

Fergus has very close relationships with his family, particularly mum and siblings. He requires his PA to support him on visits home to the family farm. He enjoys visiting animals and undertaking light manual work in the community. He also loves going for a hot chocolate and some cake He loves ice-cream too

A UK drivers license a is advantageous as Josh has his own mobility car which will be available to all ENABLE staff working with him.

Josh has complex and specific communication needs which impact on all aspects of his life.

He will require his Personal Assistant to support him in maintaining independence and dignity in all aspects of his life.

You should be committed, reliable, motivated, proactive, creative and enthusiastic as well as adaptable.

You must also have a positive and flexible outlook to your work and be able to work on your own and as part of a team.

An understanding of person-centred values are key to supporting Fergus to plan and work towards his outcomes.

Josh's PA's are required to work backshift and day shift, there is also the opportunity for extra money by doing the sleepover supports.

PA's will not be expected to undertake 2 sleepovers in a row, there will be a period of rest time in between working hours.

Experience is desirable although not essential, only the right attitude and values are essential.
