Description
Team Educate is seeking _experienced SEN Teaching Assistants _to support our teachers in the classroom. We are seeking really reliable and committed individuals who have a genuine care for the children in their care. We are looking for someone who is punctual and very dependable. This position will be afull time role in West Cardiff, starting from September, as an SEN teaching assistant.
Requirements:
- Essential: experience of working with children who are have physical and emotional needs
- Essential: experience in previous SEN setting
You will:
- Be dedicated, inspiring and engaging. Having a genuine care for the children in your support.
- Create a safe, calm and positive environment for the student
- Work under the direction of teachers
- To organise and make appropriate resources to support the pupil
- Be able to provide professional references covering the last 5 years
Skills
- Strong people and communication skills with excellent listening skills required. Strong written skills required for all levels of education preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team required.
Salary:
£72.00-£85.00 per day
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cardiff, CF10 2AS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Special education: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
