Description
Team Educate is seeking _experienced SEN Teaching Assistants _to support our teachers in the classroom. We are seeking really reliable and committed individuals who have a genuine care for the children in their care. We are looking for someone who is punctual and very dependable. This position will be a
full time role in West Cardiff, starting from September, as an SEN teaching assistant.


Requirements:


  • Essential: experience of working with children who are have physical and emotional needs
  • Essential: experience in previous SEN setting

You will:

  • Be dedicated, inspiring and engaging. Having a genuine care for the children in your support.
  • Create a safe, calm and positive environment for the student
  • Work under the direction of teachers
  • To organise and make appropriate resources to support the pupil
  • Be able to provide professional references covering the last 5 years

Skills

  • Strong people and communication skills with excellent listening skills required. Strong written skills required for all levels of education preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team required.

Salary:
£72.00-£85.00 per day


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cardiff, CF10 2AS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
