Disclosure Clerk Collisions Unit.

To support the Force commitment to the controlled sharing of personal information contained within records where such disclosure will assist victims in progressing civil claims in relation to Collisions whilst meeting legislative requirements, ACPO guidance on the Management of Police Information (MOPI) and agreed information sharing protocols.

Plymouth

Contract: 6 months

Work hours:
Full time

Salary:
£11.97 per hour PAYE - £15.32 per hour Umbrella

Main duties and responsibilities

Access Force systems and obtain information, either electronic or hard copy, to enable the decisionmaking process on whether information should be disclosed.
Compile correspondence which conveys the decision made and, where applicable, ensures the partners can understand why information has not been provided.
Meet agreed timescale as laid down in Service Level Agreements or their equivalents.

Essential

Provide specialist advice and knowledge
Provide customer service.
Gather information to support action
Maintain an effective payment systemAn understanding of the principles around disclosure.
Proven ability to undertake research.
Good decision making skills
An understanding of risk management
Demonstrable ability to draft wellstructured letters and reports outlining a particular rationale or justification for a decision
