Description

Thank you for your interest in the post of Responsible Tourism Trainee with Historic Environment Scotland. This is a fixed term and pensionable appointment.

This post will be part of a wider programme of Conservation Traineeships.

Conservation Trainees have the opportunity to gain practical experience, learn from experts in their chosen field or, increase knowledge of the wider conservation sector, expand their professional network and have access to a wide range of learning resources and opportunities from the Engine Shed, Scotland's dedicated Conservation Resource Centre.

You will work with the Climate Change Policy team, to support the delivery of the HES Climate Action Plan and the Responsible Tourism Framework, gaining skills in developing climate action projects and activities, sustainable in-person and virtual events planning and delivery, and implementing responsible tourism principles.
