Shift pattern:
Monday - Friday (rotating weekly shifts 06:00 - 14:30, 14:00 - 22:30).

Quality Operative - About the job

Working in a safe and efficient manner as instructed by the Shift Manager.
To ensure that environmental issues are reported immediately to site Management
To ensure that you are at you place of work in a timely manner as required by the business.
To attend site Safety / operational briefing as required.
To work in accordance with the Site rules and procedures.
To adhere to site rules and PPE requirements at all times.
Report Hazards, near misses and incidents
Working on the sorting line or equivalent to ensure the material grades meet the required specification of the market.
To ensure that bales of material meet the desired quality specification through inspection and 'dressing'.
To undertake housekeeping tasks as directed by site management.
To undertake sampling of the material as required by the company Code of Practice or Commercial Contracts.
Complete the necessary paperwork and update relevant spreadsheets to allow accurate recording of sampling data
Report nonconforming material in a timely manner as per customer requirements
To undertake Confidential Waste Activities as per the Company Guidelines.
Any task deemed reasonable as per the training and competence of the operator.
