The role


We are looking for a Client Executive to join our Asda partnership who will be responsible for the co-ordination of media across all channels in your category area and working alongside the commercial teams, driving successful campaign delivery for the media centre.

It will be essential for you to build strong relationships with your key stakeholders, both internal and external, using effective communication skills to support the total business commercial goals and targets.

You will successfully process and manage a variety of campaigns, ensuring briefs and artwork material meets guidelines and adheres to the set critical paths.

With close attention to detail, you will manage all campaigns through to the agreed standard, across all media partners.

You will also be working closely with your team in a dynamic way on our business objectives to deliver print and digital campaigns, ensuring collaboration and open communication.


What you'll be doing

However, here's an idea of what your responsibilities will look like:


  • Supporting in the coordination of your assigned category across all monetised channels, ensuring deadlines are met and the media is delivered as per the SLAs.
  • Liaising with and supporting your clients on the guidelines, information required and critical paths.
  • Approving and rejecting briefs based on set criteria and seeing all booked campaigns in your category through to live, ensuring process is followed at each milestone.
  • Building strong relationships with your clients, internal and external teams to drive collaboration across all functions.
  • Supporting wider organisational projects, helping to create a great workplace and supporting with SMG's mission to lead connected commerce marketing.

What you'll need to have / be

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
  • Ability to work in and adapt to an everchanging, fastpaced, challenging environment.
  • Ability to work to multiple and strict deadlines and / or critical paths.
  • Strong professional communication, and manner.
  • An interest in working and growing a career within a marketing agency.

  • If successful following the screening call, there will be an inperson

    Thursday 18th April, where your skills and experience will be evaluated in the following series of interviews:
  • An interview to assess your capabilities for the role
  • An unseen task to assess your way on thinking on the spot
  • A group exercise
