About You
We are looking for an
Environmental Operative - Incentive FM who takes pride in their work, someone who is organised, dynamic and self-motivated to join us at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol

Must have a full UK driving licence to drive the company van
Folk Lift License and IPAF are desirable
Must be a good communicator with retailers.

We are currently seeking out an experienced Environmental Operative to join our Housekeeping/Environmental Team at our very busy shopping destination, where our customer-facing vision is to 'Create Smiles and Breathe Kindness' for every visitor we encounter.

We would love to hear from you if you have excellent customer service skills and are experienced in general housekeeping, environmental recycling and grounds work.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive all vehicles in conjunction with the UK Road Traffic Act 1988 and Road Safety Act 200
Ensure all issued PPE is always worn correctly, any issues with PPE report immediately to your line manager.
Report defects/reactive jobs that could lead to an accident occurring.
Carry out functions required within the site emergency management plan e.g. Fire Evacuation.
Recognise areas where improvements can be made and inform the site supervisor/management Team aware.
Ensure all public pathways, entrances, steps, car parks, and hedgerows are clear of litter, debris, and leaves.
Ensure litter & cigarette ends are removed from planters around the exterior of the Mall building at the entrances.
Ensure bins and smoking posts are emptied regularly throughout the day and cleaned.
Ensure service roads are free of litter and buildup of bulky refuse.

About You:

First Aid or willing to attend training
Good timekeeper who enjoys working both outside and inside
Recycling/waste management: some knowledge of environmental waste/recycling procedures is desirable
External working and able to function in adverse weather conditions
Use of machinery, bailer/compactor, and driving a van is desirable
Able to recognise security, health and safety issues and report
Able to work alone or in a team
Good level of English
