My client is a fantastic organisation within the Estate Agency field who are currently looking for a Tenancy Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis.
Position is Administration dealing with new, existing and ending tenancies. Monday to Friday 09:00-17:30with an hours lunch - Dorking office. £22,000Duties and Responsibilities Tenancy Coordinator:
- Setting up tenancies and sending/monitoring references for Tenants
- Drawing up tenancy agreements and sending pretenancy information to Tenants
- Booking checkins/outs and compliance checks
- Registering and deregistering deposits
- Conducting right to rent checks on Tenants in line with the current regulations
- Raising tenancy invoices and taking payments
- Contacting utility companies and managing void period bills
- Dealing with tenancy renewals and rent reviews
- Processing notices and liaising with the Negotiators, to remarket the properties
- Drawing up Section 21 and Section 13 notices
- Dealing with nonmanaged deposit returns
- Ensuring compliance knowledge is kept current
- Chasing/Following up rent arrears
- Drawing up variation of contracts for mid tenancy requests
- Dealing with Tenants and Landlords questions regarding the whole tenancy process
- Answering phone calls and taking details of enquiries if negotiators are out of the office
What the Tenancy Coordinator should have:
- Good customer service and telephone manner
- Knowledge of Reapit/Goodlord beneficial but not essential
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
