As a
SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:
- Establish positive and secure relationships with students and help develop their trust and belief, promoting their self-esteem
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the specific academic, physical, and emotional/behavioral/medical needs of the children and respond to them effectively
- Work closely alongside the teacher to offer classroom support and assist whenever required
- Encourage all students to learn and motivate them to reach their maximum potential
- Establish a good working relationship with all children, acting as a role model
- Challenge and support the progress of all pupils
- Accompany the students in their spare time or with social activities
