This Head of Housekeeping role will ensure the cleanliness and presentation of our clients luxury student and professional apartments across Bristol.

You will coordinate and delegate house keepers across the properties when check ins/outs occur, and ensuringlinen is consistently clean and prepared.

Our client is a growing property business, providing luxury apartments for students and professionals across Bristol and London.

Due to exceptional growth, they are now looking for a Head of Housekeeping to manage and maintain their properties here in Bristol.


Description


The main duties and responsibilities of Head of Housekeeping are Lead the Housekeeping team, with the ability to motivate, inspire, coach, and support your team to improve and develop to their full potential.


  • Leading by example and setting high standards to ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically.
  • Planning rotas for the team; issue training and retraining as required. Ensuring that all team member training records are kept up to date.
  • Hold regular meetings with your team to discuss development, business needs and any other matters that need addressing
  • Ensure that all maintenance issues are reported on the day that they are found.
  • Checking and monitoring stock levels of linen, consumables, and cleaning materials and reordering as necessary.
  • Completing room audits, always with a keen eye for details. Schedule deep cleans as needed. All team members should receive a score of 85% or above.
  • Ensure that all spend consumables, linen, and staffing comes within the budgets allotted.
  • Ensuring all public areas are presentable and any work is carried out promptly to the highest standards.
  • Dealing with guests/students facetoface and by phone if necessary, addressing any issues, and assisting with their requirements.
  • Liaising with other teams in Urban Creation, ie Maintenance, Student Property, and Finance to ensure top rate service.
  • Promoting ethos of Urban Creation through excellent customer focus.
  • Protect the privacy and security of residents and coworkers
  • Maintain confidentiality of propriety materials and information
  • Ensure that uniform and personal appearance are clean hygienic and professional inline with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain an organised and tidy work area to include your desk, lobby, resident floor areas and that data protection are adhered to.
  • Participates in all departmental meetings and communicate clearly and consistently.
  • Ensure that all workrelated accidents or other injuries are reported immediately with the correct accident/incident report completed and files in a locked drawer.
  • Maintain awareness of suspicious persons on the property.
  • Follow the safety and security policy
