We are working on behalf of one of our clients in the Gateshead area who are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team.

This is a temporary ongoing position with a view to go permanent for the right person.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Working from a pick list to pack and prepare orders and ensure they are sent out to the customer on time and correctly
  • Working to daily targets
  • Off loading deliveries, scanning goods on receipt, moving onto pallets and putting stock away
  • Wrapping and sealing of products
  • Labelling products ready for despatch
  • Ensuring orders are completed on time
  • General housekeeping tasks
  • Use of Manual Handling Equipment to pick orders


2 shift rotation - Hours of work will be a rotating pattern of 6.00am - 2.00pm / 2.00pm pm, Monday to Friday - Pay rate £10.13 Per Hour + £9.36 per shift worked.


Experience:


  • Experience in a production, warehouse or factory environment is desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the use of a Fork Lift Truck or any other Manual Handling Equipment eg LOLOP is required. However any previous training, basic experience or outdated license will suffice as full traiing will be given
  • This role does require manually lifting the materials so applicants must be physically fit
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse
  • Working to targets
