Description
We are urgently seeking a Graduate Acoustics Consultant to work for a reputable and established environmental consultancy near Reading.


You will be working for an award winning organization that prides itself on being at the forefront of environmental planning services in the UK.

For this role, you need to be degree qualified preferably with a BSc in Acoustics or a closely related discipline.

You need to have excellent communication skills, good numeracy skills, and be IT literate. A driving license is also required.
Duties

  • Undertaking noise surveys, assessments, and measurements.
  • Carrying out basic acoustics calculations.
  • Writing reports.
  • Supporting senior staff.

In addition to the requirements mentioned above, previous commercial experience in the Acoustics sector would be an advantage but not essential.

You will be expected to keep abreast of legislation and guidelines surrounding Acoustics practice in the UK suchas BS4142, BS 5228, and PPG 24.
