This specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Tamworth, catering to students aged 11-16 years old, is looking for an experienced Exams Officer to join the team.
This school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for students who face various emotional and behavioural difficulties. Leadership aim to provide a safe and positive learning environment where all students can reach their full potential and achieve academic and social successResponsibilities:
- Manage the administration of all internal and external exams
- Coordinate exam timetables and ensure they are communicated effectively to staff, students, and parents
- Ensure all exam entries are completed accurately and on time
- Ensure exam papers are received, distributed, and collected securely
- Manage the invigilation process for all exams, ensuring compliance with exam board regulations
- Liaise with exam boards, ensuring that all exam arrangements and requests are met
- Prepare exam results and certificates for distribution to students
- Manage exam appeals and queries, and ensure they are resolved effectively
- Ensure compliance with exam board regulations and procedures
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all examrelated information
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Exams Officer role is essential
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and exam board regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in SEMH schools is desirable, but not essential
