Broker & Carrier Services Analyst - About the role


To support the Broker & Carrier Services Manager in the team's internal broker and carrier support services, comprising policy administration, technical accounting, credit control and reporting responsibilities, as well as the team's wider regulatory reportingand data quality responsibilities.


Broker & Carrier Services Analyst - Key duties
Submit cash and non-cash premium settlements and claims movements via DXC's IMR and CLASS/ECF platforms.


Service binding authority and quota share treaty business using policy administration systems, IMR and DDM as appropriate to set up and monitor contracts and process premium and claims bordereaux and treaty statements, as well as calculating and settlingconsortia fees.

Receive, validate and allocate bureau signing messages on policy administration systems.


Assist with credit control and reconciliation activity including cash allocations, producing and issuing statements of account, calculating cancellation return premiums and producing management information including cash balance, EPI variance and aged debtreporting.

Support the team's data quality responsibilities through the monitoring, assessment, resolution and reporting of data, system and process issues.

Administer Lloyd's systems for the company and its client's employees, including MDC, CMR, Identity and Linage.


Assist with the co-ordination and submission of regulatory returns such as Quarterly/ Annual Solvency Reporting, Part VII and Gross Quarterly Data.

Assist in the development of new services and the continuous improvement of existing processes performed by the BCS function.

Handle queries from other business functions, brokers, carriers, TPAs and DXC.


Broker & Carrier Services Analyst - Key requirements
Current and relevant experience in a broker technician role (or similar), essential.

Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (or similar), particularly Excel, Access and Word

Understanding of Xchanging processes and systems, including the IMR and ECF/Class, and other market systems such as DDM

Experience of policy and signing message processing on London Market Policy Administration Systems
