Income Verification Project Officer - Council Tax, Revenue Services
It is key more than ever for Local Authorities to maximise their income with the effective administration of taxes.

A crucial role at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets has become available as an Income Verification Project Officer within the Revenue Services department.

We are looking for Enthusiastic self


  • At least a basic knowledge of Council Tax including discounts and exemptions.
  • Experience of delivering a customer and solution focused service.
  • Experience of prioritising workloads to meet strict and critical deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to deal with customer enquiries


This is a fixed term role until
01/08/2026 with a view to extend for a future 12 months, it will have a hybrid working pattern after a period of training where at least 2 days a week will be office based at the Town Hall Whitechapel.


The appointee will need to have a current standard DBS check (criminal record check) or pass a DBS check prior to appointment.

The interview will be held in person at the Town Hall week commencing 10th June 2024.
